Course Description
The course is designed for coaches, team managers, physiotherapists, and club volunteers across all sports in Ireland. Practical, instructor-led training at EFAST's training centre near Dublin. Learn:
- CPR and AED for Sport - Cardiac arrest response on the pitch or in the gym, including AED retrieval and operation when every second counts
- Concussion Recognition and Management - Current concussion protocols, return-to-play guidelines, and pitch-side assessment of a suspected head injury
- Sports Injuries - Sprains, Strains, and Fractures - How to assess, stabilise, and manage the most common injuries across contact and non-contact sports
- Bleeding, Shock, and Medical Emergencies - Control of serious bleeding, recognition of shock, and how to manage a medical emergency while waiting for EMS
