For inter hospital transfers, EFAST deploys Advanced Life Support (ALS) ambulances with trained medical personnel who provide continuous clinical care during transit. Our patient transfer service supports both high-dependency and critical care moves. Every patient transfer from hospital to hospital is coordinated directly with the referring and receiving medical teams to make sure care is not interrupted at any point during the move.
Medical repatriation is the process of transporting a patient back to their home country or region for continued care. EFAST provides both national and international repatriation through its ambulance transport services. This includes emergency repatriation for time-sensitive cases and planned repatriation for stable patients. Our medical transport team ensures clinical oversight at all times during the transfer, regardless of distance.
Yes, EFAST is a private ambulance company. Unlike public ambulance services, our private ambulance is available on demand for booked transfers, event standby, and situations where the public system may not be suitable. This includes patient transfer from hospital to home, private inter hospital transfers, and on-site medical standby at events. All our ambulance crews hold current PHECC registration and our vehicles meet the same CEN 1789 safety and equipment standards used by statutory services.

EFAST provides event medical services that range from a single event medic for small gatherings to full-scale medical teams for major festivals and sporting events. Our event medical support includes event first aid stations, event ambulance service on standby, and Advanced Life Support coverage. All event medics are PHECC-registered professionals, including Emergency Medical Technicians, Paramedics, and Advanced Paramedics. We also deploy medical staff for events that need doctors or specialist clinical cover.
Yes. EFAST offers event safety management consulting alongside its medical services. This includes risk assessments, safety statement preparation, and full on-site coordination during the event. Our event safety team works with organisers before, during, and after the event to make sure all national safety standards and local authority requirements are met. We also provide event fire response through our team of BA-equipped firefighters.
EFAST offers ambulance hire for events of all sizes. Our CEN 1789 compliant ambulances can be stationed at your venue with fully qualified crews on standby throughout the event. This is often required for sports event medical coverage, large-scale music festivals, and corporate events where immediate transport capability is needed. Each event ambulance service booking is planned to match the size, risk profile, and duration of your event.

EFAST Ireland offers a range of online health and safety courses designed for both individuals and corporate teams. These include an online fire safety course, online first aid course, fire safety awareness online course, manual handling certificate online, and other workplace safety training modules. Each course is self-paced, allowing you to complete it from any device at a time that suits you. All online safety courses are accredited and developed by active frontline professionals.
Yes. EFAST is accredited by ISO 9001, CHKS, QQI, PHECC, and the Irish Heart Foundation. Our online health and safety training courses carry CPD certification, and certificates are available for download immediately after you pass the end-of-course assessment. This means your fire safety certification or first aid course qualification is valid and recognised by employers and regulators in Ireland.
For most safety courses online, your CPD-certified PDF certificate is generated straight away once you successfully complete the course assessment. There is no waiting period. This applies to all our online health and safety courses including the online first aid course, online fire safety course, and manual handling certificate online.

Companies can purchase online health and safety courses for their teams, and each employee receives their own login to complete the training at their own pace. EFAST delivers instructor-led health and safety training directly at your workplace. Our onsite courses include first aid training, fire safety training, fire warden courses, manual handling training, patient manual handling courses, confined space training, and emergency response training (ERT). EFAST provides onsite health and safety courses across all counties in Ireland. We regularly deliver first aid training, fire safety training, manual handling courses, fire warden training, and confined space training in workplaces across the Republic of Ireland.
A fire warden course trains staff to act as designated fire wardens in the workplace. This includes learning how to carry out fire drills, identify fire hazards, use fire extinguishers, and manage evacuation procedures. A fire marshal course typically covers additional responsibilities such as liaising with fire services, maintaining fire safety records, and conducting workplace fire risk assessments. EFAST offers both fire warden training and fire marshal training as part of its onsite fire safety training programme.
Yes. Our manual handling training is designed to be delivered on your premises so that exercises can be carried out using your actual equipment and in your real working conditions. This applies to both general manual handling courses and patient manual handling courses for healthcare settings. Onsite delivery is available in Dublin, Cork, Galway, Limerick, and all other locations nationwide.
All EFAST instructors are qualified professionals who work actively in their fields. Our first aid training is delivered by PHECC-registered Paramedics and Advanced Paramedics. Fire safety training is led by experienced firefighters. ERT training in Dublin, Cork, and across Ireland is delivered by specialists in rescue operations and BA (Breathing Apparatus) firefighting. EFAST is accredited by QQI, PHECC, ISO 9001, CHKS, HSA, and the Irish Heart Foundation, and these accreditations apply to all our onsite safety training courses.
