Course Description
Get PHECC-certified in cardiac first responder training with EFAST's 4-hour CFR-C course. No medical background needed. This is the entry-level PHECC cardiac qualification and the first step on the path to CFR Advanced, EFR, and EMT. Learn:
- CPR for Adults, Children, and Infants - Hands-on resuscitation techniques practised through scenario-based assessment
- AED Operation - How to retrieve and use an Automated External Defibrillator during cardiac arrest
- Choking, Stroke, and Heart Attack - Recognition and immediate response for the most common life-threatening emergencies
- Handover and Documentation - How to report your actions and hand over to arriving EMS crews correctly
