Course Description
Learn CPR and how to use a defibrillator in just 2 hours with EFAST's IHF-accredited heartsaver CPR AED course near Dublin. Delivered in association with the Irish Heart Foundation and the American Heart Association, this training is open to everyone, no medical background needed. Learn:
- CPR for Adults, Children, and Infants - Correct compression technique, rate, and depth for each age group, practised on training manikins
- AED Operation - How to retrieve, power, and safely use an Automated External Defibrillator during cardiac arrest
- Choking Response - Recognition and hands-on management of foreign body airway obstruction across all age groups
- Scene Safety and Emergency Response - How to assess the situation, activate EMS, and provide effective bystander response
