Course Description
Become a certified CPR/AED instructor with EFAST's 5-day heartsaver CPR AED instructor course, delivered in association with the Irish Heart Foundation and the American Heart Association. This programme is designed for healthcare professionals and experienced first responders who want to teach CPR and AED skills. Upon successful completion and monitoring, students receive an IHF/AHA instructor certificate. Learn:
- Basic Life Support to Responder Level - Master the full BLS curriculum following AHA/IHF guidelines before teaching it to others
- Instructional Techniques - How to structure, deliver, and assess CPR/AED training sessions effectively
- AED and CPR Demonstration Skills - Correct technique for adults, children, and infants with training manikins and AED trainers
- Monitoring and Assessment - Supervised teaching practice and instructor monitoring process required for certification
